My great grandfather George Arber, born in Cambridge, was a cricketer in the 60s and then cricket coach and groundsman at Malvern College from 1868 until 1905. I have not been able to find out much about his cricketing career, have you come across him in your researches? I would be grateful for any information you could share with me- I don’t intend to publish anything- just information for the family, but will of course credit any information you may pass on.
